Arsenal are one of six teams tracking Torino centre-back Armando Izzo, according to reports in Spain.
Sevilla have been the club most active in pursuing the 27-year-old, with sporting director Monchi a big fan of the Italian after having watched him for two years at Roma.
The Giallorossi are one of the other clubs keeping tabs on Izzo, with the Gunners also having to contend with Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Torino fell short of qualifying for the Champions League last season, finishing in seventh, just six points off fourth-placed Inter.
An important part of the Serie A club’s success was their excellent defensive record, having conceded just 37 goals and losing just seven matches in the league.
Izzo was a crucial part of his team’s strong defence, having started 37 out of 38 league games. He also has an eye for goal having scored four times in Serie A last campaign.
