Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Arsenal starlet Xavier Amaechi, according to Football.London.

The website reports that scouts from the German club were in attendance at last night’s game between the Gunners’ Under 23 side and Swansea City. They are said to be weighing up a move for the midfielder in the summer.

Amaechi started on the right wing yesterday and played the full 90 minutes as Arsenal drew 2-2 in the Premier League 2 fixture.

The 18-year-old has, though, been in impressive form so far this season. He has scored three goals and provided five assists in 9 league games.

Amaechi has also impressed in the FA Youth Cup, having scored in the 5-2 win over Tottenham in the fourth round of the competition.

The teenager was, however, unable to help as the Under 18s were knocked out by West Brom in the last 16.

Amaechi is reportedly just one of a number of young Arsenal players being scouted by foreign clubs with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah also being monitored.
