Arsenal will look into the possibility of swapping Mesut Ozil with Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to reports in the English media.
The Spaniard is not in manager Santiago Solari’s first team plans, with questions over his fitness and attitude, and he could be sold to fund an ambitious summer spending spree.
However, the player is valued at £100m by Real, meaning the Gunners would have to stump up some cash as well as offering Ozil in any part-exchange proposal.
Fans on Twitter are mostly dubious whether such a transfer would be realistic:
Doesnt sound real

Isco has also been heavily linked with Chelsea in recent days, with reports suggesting a £70m offer is being lined up for the 26-year-old. A lot rides on how desperate Madrid are to offload the playmaker, as well as their interest in Ozil.
The German performed well during his first spell in Madrid, scoring 27 goals and providing 80 assists in 159 games for the La Liga club, but it is not known whether they would be keen to re-sign him.
