Arsenal sent scouts to watch Roma winger Cengiz Under play against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League last night, according to reports in Italy.
The Turkish international is a highly rated young player with his asking price set at €50m (£45m) by his current club. Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Barcelona are also believed to be interested in the midfielder.
Some fans on Twitter are excited by the possibility of the Gunners signing the player in January:

Under would certainly have impressed watching scouts with his performance against Plzen. Despite Roma losing 2-1 in the Czech Republic, the 21-year-old scored for his side in the second half.
Unfortunately for him, his equaliser proved to be in vain as Plzen scored the winner just five minutes later.
The result didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things for Roma as they had already qualified for the knockout rounds as group runners-up behind Real Madrid.
