Arsenal manager Unai Emery has clearly had an influence on Alex Iwobi since his arrival at the club.
The Nigerian international has been in excellent form since the start of the season, and it seems that it’s the work being put in on the training pitch which is paying dividends.
The Gunners’ Twitter account shared a video of Emery talking about movement with Iwobi, which the winger than proceeded to put into practice:

Fans were impressed by Emery’s attention to detail, although some are hoping that the club do not give away too many of the manager’s coaching secrets:

Iwobi is certainly producing more of an end product this season. How much that is to do with Emery or just down to his own maturity, we cannot know for certain.
In 17 appearances this campaign, the 22-year-old has scored one goal and provided five assists for his teammates. In the whole of last season, he managed just three goals and contributed seven assists.
