Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil could be set for a move to Fenerbahce in the January transfer window, according to reports in England.
The 29-year-old had been linked with a switch to the Turkish club in the summer, but no offer materialised.
The rumour of Fenerbahce’s interest seems to stem from an article suggesting that the Yellow Canaries are the favourites with some bookmakers after a flurry of bets were placed on him moving to the Turkish side.
Most fans on Twitter don’t expect that Ozil will be leaving the Emirates any time soon:

Very humorous. Let’s hand the keys of the team to Ramsey. So he can chase his first touch all over the park

A switch to the Super Lig club is highly unlikely due to Ozil’s wage demands. He is currently earning a reported £350,000 a week with the Gunners after signing a new three and a half year contract back in February.
Speculation about the German midfielder’s future increased after a reported training ground row with manager Unai Emery but the story was refuted by the Spanish head coach as well as his teammate Nacho Monreal.
