1) David Raya steps up to the plate

The Spaniard has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism after the way he started the season.

Raya was very nervous and uncertain of himself following his arrival from Brentford but there have been signs recently that he has become more comfortable in his surroundings.

Against Porto, he was strong in all aspects of his game; both with his shot-stopping and distribution out from the back.

Saving two penalties in the shootout will also do Raya’s confidence a world of good and it will go a long way to convince him that he belongs at Arsenal.
