Joao Palhinha’s late equaliser was a kick in the teeth for Arsenal but, it must be said, it wasn’t the greatest of performances from the Gunners.

It was a rather disjointed display, with too many players off their game, especially in the first half.

Once again, the home side conceded early, giving Mikel Arteta’s men an uphill task. The manager’s penchant for tinkering is certainly not helping matters either.
