22.5M Rated Arsenal Target Reveals He Has Made Key Decision On His Future

Red Bull Salzburg attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has confirmed that he will be staying at the Austrian club for at least another season.

The Hungarian international has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months, along with AC Milan and Napoli, but the 19-year-old says he is happy to remain with his current team and play in Europe next campaign:

“I have spoken with my family and my agent. I want to play another season in the Champions League with Salzburg.”

Szoboszlai has been tracked by the Gunners for a quite a while, with some tipping the teenager as a long-term replacement for Mesut Ozil. There were reports last month, though, that suggested that the London club had withdrawn from the race to sign the Hungarian anyway due to their limited transfer budget.

It is believed the midfielder has a €25m (£22.5m) price tag, which would have proved too costly for Arsenal, considering they have priorities in other areas of the pitch. The club are still trying to find the funds to finance a move for Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey.
