Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is the subject of interest from Barcelona, according to reports in the Catalan media.
The Frenchman is reportedly an alternative to priority target Antoine Griezmann, although Barca have yet to decide on who to pursue.
Gunners fans on Twitter were quick to issue a hands-off warning to the La Liga club:
£120 million plus messi

Sorry Laca not for sale?

You do not improve by selling your best players, it’s as simple as that. €70m is barely more than we paid for him.

Imagine letting go of laca to get gomes. We'll bottle even more with him and xhaka in the middle.

Would rather sell Auba

Barcelona would reportedly only consider offering between €65m (£55m) and €70m (£60m) for Lacazette which would only just exceed the £53m that Arsenal paid for the forward in 2017.
With that being the case, Barca are reportedly considering using players such as Samuel Umtiti and Andre Gomes as part of the deal.
The two players have been linked with moves to the Emirates in the last few months, but it seems unlikely that the London club would sacrifice their player of the year in order to secure a deal for either of them.
