Zinchenko To Start, Tierney On The Bench: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Play Brighton

Despite going 1-0 down against West Ham, Arsenal did not panic, and they deservedly secured a 3-1 victory on Boxing Day. A trip to Brighton on Saturday evening will, however, be another tricky fixture to negotiate.

Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal once again, but there could be a change in the backline with Oleksandr Zinchenko replacing Kieran Tierney at left-back.

The rest of the defence, though, is likely to stay as it is, with Ben White on the right flank, and William Saliba partnering Gabriel at centre-back.

There could be some temptation to rotate but, as the Gunners are playing their next game against Newcastle on Tuesday, manager Mikel Arteta may decide to keep faith with the same midfield and front three who started earlier this week.

That means Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard and Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park, with a forward line of Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka, Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli
