Arsenal are considering whether to sign Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart on a free transfer if Bernd Leno’s knee injury is confirmed to be as bad as first feared, according to reports in the UK.
The former England number one is out of contract at the end of the month and the Clarets have confirmed he will not be offered an extension to stay until the end of the season.
Hart could be snapped up as an emergency transfer if the Gunners’ goalkeeping situation worsens but fans on Twitter would not be in favour of the move:

At the moment, it is highly unlikely that Arsenal will make a move for Hart. If Leno is out for the remainder of the campaign, Emi Martinez will deputise with Matt Macey on the bench.
The 25-year-old’s current deal was set to expire at the end of the month, but reports suggest that the Gunners have triggered a one-year contract extension.
