Arsenal are interested in signing Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, according to reports in the Italian media.
The 23-year-old has been on Manchester City’s radar for quite a while but it appears that the Gunners may look to join the battle to snap up the Italian international.
With the European Super League taking up a lot of the news, not many fans on Twitter are really interested in transfers currently but some believe Locatelli could be an excellent addition if the funds are available:

Sassuolo are believed to be holding out for around €40m (£34m) and it remains to be seen whether such an asking price would put off Arsenal from making an offer.
The midfield is one area of the squad which is lacking depth, with Mohamed Elneny and Dani Ceballos having had notable dips in form this season. Locatelli would, therefore, reinforce a part of the team that badly needs strengthening.
