Arsenal managed only one successful pass into Vitoria Guimaraes’ penalty area in the 1-1 draw against the Portuguese side last night.
Nicolas Pepe’s free-kick that led to Shkodran Mustafi’s opening goal was the only time that the Gunners managed to link up in the opposing box and supporters on Twitter are not impressed, to say the least, with the lack of penetration in the final third:
Wow!!! This is appalling.

This defence issue has gotten to the players heads and they’re not playing freely like they used to.

It must be pointed out that it was a much-changed side for the Europa League fixture, but even so, Arsenal’s attack needs to be creating more chances than they did yesterday evening. You could say that they scored five goals against Liverpool only last week, but three of the Reds’ backline were teenagers.
Even though the Gunners are very likely to qualify from the Europe League group, the club’s poor form in all competitions is putting more pressure on manager Unai Emery, who needs a result against Leicester on Saturday.
