Arsenal are looking at bringing in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku on loan, according to reports in France.
The France Under 21 international was managed by Unai Emery when he was PSG boss and the Gunners manager is said to be keen on working with him again.
Nkunku has not featured prominently under Thomas Tuchel this campaign with the 21-year-old having started just eight times in all competitions.
Fans on Twitter think the starlet could prove to be a smart addition:
Would take him in a heart beat

he’s good, inexperienced but very direct player, similar to RNelson but a bit more polished than RNelson atm.

Looks stupid to sign him when we loaned Nelson.

From Dembèlè to Suarez to James to Nkunku……… Better give Buyako Saka a chance! Or recall Nelson!

Yes, would be good for the team, but I still hope we’ll recruit someone able to fix our weaknesses

Don’t really see him as a winger or a 10 in a 4222 but as nr 8. Would work well in the 442 diamond. Obviously not as good as Ramsey but I see him in the same role. Unless Rambo is leaving in january I would rather see us go for a real wide player. Talented player though.

Oh my! Make it happen.. Bundle of talent and confidence. Should have become a mainstay in the PSG since three seasons now but PSG have to pander to the High costing names they bring in every season.

Watching Nkunku’s skills on YouTube already ?

It looks as though Nkunku is being eyed as an alternative to Barcelona’s Denis Suarez after negotiations stalled for the Spaniard over a £20m purchase clause.
The PSG midfielder is available on loan, although it looks like negotiations could be lengthy. The French club would like Nkunku to sign a new contract before letting him go but the Gunners want an option to buy.
The Frenchman can play either as a central midfielder or as a winger; a position that Emery says he wants to strengthen this month.
