Arsenal are reportedly one of a number of teams keeping tabs on Verona defender Marash Kumbulla. It is believed that the Gunners are eyeing a move for the 20-year-old who could be available for €30m (£27m).
Some journalists in Italy have labelled him the ‘next’ Giorgio Chiellini and the favourable comparisons to the Juventus legend have got many fans talking on Twitter:
Despite not seeing him play one minute,I can safely say he would be a terrific signing ?? pic.twitter.com/j7WBobfScm

As things stand, Arsenal are said to be only interested in ensuring Pablo Mari’s loan move is made permanent, while they are also said to be keen on Reims defender Axel Disasi.
Kumbulla is probably being scouted by the London club, considering his standout performances for Verona in Serie A, but he’s unlikely to be at the top of their list of targets.
The Albanian’s asking price may well prove to be too steep, while there will reportedly be competition from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Everton Inter Milan and RB Leipzig.
