Wolves Lead Arsenal In Race To Sign £21m Rated Swedish Starlet

Wolves are readying a bid for Atalanta attacking midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, according to TMW, but the Italian website believes they may face some competition from Arsenal.

The Gunners have reportedly been monitoring the Sweden Under 21 international for a number of months but Wolves are looking to table a €15m (£13m) offer for the 19-year-old in the January transfer window.

Atalanta are said to be demanding around €25m (£21m) for Kulusevski so it’s likely that the bid will be rejected by the Serie A side.

The teenager is actually on loan at Parma at the moment, but he has been performing well in Italy’s top flight, having scored two goals and contributed five assists in just 11 league appearances.

Whether Arsenal would consider making a move for Kulusevski, despite Atalanta’s high asking price, it remains to be seen. The Swede has only played 15 senior games, having made his first-team debut back in January.
