Wilshere Keeping The Pepsi-Arsenal Relationship Alive

Jack Wilshere has always been seen as a strong character who is built to be Arsenal’s leader. He started out young just like Fabregas and is now one of the Gunner’s most dependable players despite just turning 22 two weeks ago.

After Henry became one of the most popular players to put on the Pepsi logo, it is now Wilshere’s turn to represent the spirit of both Arsenal and the company which year after year puts together the best of the best. This season, Wenger’s midfielder was paired up with the biggest names in football. Messi, Aguero, Ramos, Luiz, Van Persie and the English international are the main figures included in a series of images and videos which will be part of a year-long Pepsi campaign.

According to Pepsi’s current Global Chief Marketing Officer, Kirstin Patrick, Wilshere was a perfect fit for their future campaign which will try to promote the Pepsi spirit. Living in the moment, having fun and keeping fans excided is what this brand wants to inspire. Arsenal’s player is all about that and much more despite being the youngest among the six selected players.

The Gunner will be featured on global television and limited edition packaging which will hit the market in March. It will be quite the popularity boost for Wilshere who has not yet been involved in such complex marketing strategies.

Hopefully for Wenger, the youngster will stay concentrated and continue growing with every game just like he did in the past few years. This seems like it is going to be the best season of his career up to now if you consider he already scored 5 times and also that Arsenal are closer to a trophy than they have been in a long time. Becoming part of the Pepsi team can only boost his morale and help him perform even better which is great for both the Gunners and Wilshere.
