Both Joe Hart and Jack Wilshere suffered the humiliation of exiting at the group stages of the World Cup with England but they did not have a care in the world after the Daily Mail posted photos of the duo partying together at MGM Hotel in Las Vegas.

Wilshere, who started just one game for England at the World Cup, was caught smoking at the pool party, his second such incident in less than a year. Last October, the 22-year-old was pictured smoking after a night out which infuriated boss Arsene Wenger.

The talented midfielder had assured his fans that it was an error on his part. He had said, “I made a mistake. Players make mistakes. I’m not a smoker. I spoke to the boss and he asked me what happened. I explained it to him and we sorted it out.”

The attacking midfielder is one of England’s best young players but, after an injury-ravaged season, he needs to show his true potential next term. Smoking and drinking is no way to fulfil your true potential, Jack!
