Arsenal are weighing up a surprise move for Bournemouth winger Jaidon Anthony, according to reports in the English media.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and he could be available for a relatively modest fee if a club chooses to make an approach this month.
Fans on Twitter are slightly perplexed by the Gunners’ interest in Anthony, with many feeling that he wouldn’t add anything to the first-team squad:

It should be pointed out that Anthony was a key figure in helping Bournemouth gain promotion last season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 45 league matches.
The forward is also being pursued by the likes of Leicester, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach which suggests many others feel that he has some untapped potential as well.
However, Arsenal are not exactly short of wingers. In addition to new signing Leandro Trossard, manager Mikel Arteta has the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson and Marquinhos already at his disposal.
