Arsenal are keen on signing Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan, according to reports in the Spanish media.
The 24-year-old has a release clause of €15m (£13m) and is believed to be an option to replace the outgoing Aaron Ramsey.
Gunners scouts are said to have singled out Jordan as a player with the potential to play in the Premier League, but manager Unai Emery has yet to make his mind up over whether to sign him.
Supporters on Twitter are not particularly impressed by the level of player Arsenal are currently being linked with:

Why are we going after players no one has ever heard of? They’re obviously not proven. So why are we wasting time? Smh.

The Spaniard has a decent record in La Liga this campaign, having scored three goals and laid on four assists in 27 appearances.
Jordan’s contract expires at the end of next season and Eibar are reportedly willing to negotiate the midfielder’s sale in the summer.
