Arsenal are considering whether to make a move for Atletico Madrid’s Matheus Cunha ahead of the next transfer window.

It is believed that manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu see him as a good replacement for Gabriel Jesus while the Gunners’ number nine is out injured.

Cunha has been linked with both Wolves and Aston Villa so the Premier League leaders may have to move fast next month to secure the striker’s signature.
