White, Jesus And Partey To Start, Gabriel Out: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Take On Forest

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend after describing their 2-0 defeat to PSV on Thursday evening as “extremely poor”.

They will be facing a Nottingham Forest team on Sunday who will be flying after securing a shock win versus Liverpool last week.

In terms of the starting lineup, Arteta will keep Aaron Ramsdale in goal, but there may have to be a change in the backline if Gabriel does not recover in time after picking up a knock midweek.

Ben White may be asked to partner William Saliba in the centre of defence, with Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney as the two fullbacks.

Thomas Partey will be reinstated in midfield, with Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard playing in the two more advanced roles ahead of the Ghanaian.

Up front, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus are expected to return to the eleven, with Gabriel Martinelli taking up his customary position on the left flank.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Nottingham Forest:

Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Saliba, White, Tierney, Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
