Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal Injury News, Betting Odds And Where To Watch

Arsenal make the trip to the East Midlands to play against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

The Gunners have an 11-point gap at the top of the table now after they lost 1-0 to West Ham over the weekend, allowing rivals Liverpool to extend their lead.

Mikel Arteta still believes that his side can win the Premier League title, but they will need to get past a tough Forest side on Wednesday in order to do so.

Forest are third in the table, six points behind Arsenal, but they have lost their last three matches in the league, which will give extra confidence for Arteta’s side. Furthermore, Arsenal were 3-0 winners at the Emirates when the two teams last met.

Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz who are all injured. Attacker Ethan Nwaneri is a doubt for the game, but expected to be fit and ready by Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Forest will be without just one player, their backup goalkeeper Carlos Miguel. Click here to see our predicted XI for Arsenal for the game at the City Ground.

Arsenal made favourites against Forest away from home

Despite the fact that Nottingham Forest are just one place behind the Gunners in the Premier League table, Arsenal have been backed as fairly strong favourites for the game at the City Ground by the bookmakers.

According to Oddschecker, Arsenal are backed at odds of 1/1 to win the game, which gives them a 50% chance of three points. Forest are backed at 3/1 (25%), and draw is backed at odds of 13/5 (27.8%).

We predict a 2-1 win for the Gunners in what is expected to be a very tight affair between two sides set to be in the Champions League next season.
