Arsenal vs PSG Preview: Team News, Betting Odds And Where To Watch

Arsenal are preparing for their biggest game of the season so far on Tuesday night as they will play against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-finals.

The Gunners will welcome the French side to the Emirates on Tuesday night for the first leg of their semi-final tie, before heading to Paris next week to try and book a spot in the Champions League final.

It has already been a historic campaign for Mikel Arteta’s side, as they beat Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, including a famous 3-0 victory at the Emirates in the first leg. They will be hoping to do the same to PSG this week.

Arsenal didn’t play over the weekend, and so they’ve had some well-earned rest ahead of the game on Tuesday. However, despite that, they will still be without five players, and Mikel Merino, Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori are all doubts for the game.

PSG could be without just one name; Willian Pancho, who plays at centre-back for the Ligue 1 side. It means that the likes of Saka and Martinelli, may decide to play more narrow in order to exploit the gap in defence.

Arsenal backed to win the first leg at home

After their superb triumph over Real Madrid, it is no wonder that the bookmakers are feeling confident for the Gunners heading into Tuesday, as they have made them the favourites.

According to Oddschecker, Arsenal are backed at odds of 29/25 to beat PSG on Tuesday night, giving them a 46% chance of going to Paris with the advantage.

PSG are backed to win the first leg at odds of 5/2 (28.6%), and a draw is backed at 5/2 too, meaning that Arsenal are considerable favourites. We predict a cagey 1-0 win for the Gunners at the Emirates, in what should be a tight affair.

Where to watch the Gunners against PSG

The game kicks off at 8 pm on Tuesday 29 April from the Emirates Stadium, and will be available to watch live on Amazon Prime Video in the UK for all Prime customers.

Highlights will be posted to the Prime Video Sport YouTube channel, and live commentary will be available via the Arsenal website or app for non-Prime customers.
