“When There Is Something Concrete…” Swiss International Speaks Out Following Arsenal Transfer Links

Red Bull Salzburg striker Noah Okafor says he will “evaluate” his options if and when a club makes an approach to sign him.

Arsenal and AC Milan have both been mentioned as potential suitors for the Swiss international in recent days but, when asked about which country he would prefer to move to, Okafor replied:

“Preferences for the future? No. Whether it’s England, Spain, Italy or Germany, every league and every club has a particular charm. When there is something concrete, we will evaluate.”

Okafor ostensibly plays as a centre-forward so you would have to say that he is unlikely to be a priority signing for the Gunners when the transfer window reopens in January.

Manager Mikel Arteta already has Eddie Nketiah as backup for Gabriel Jesus up front, so there wouldn’t be much room for Okafor.

It is believed that Arsenal will make signing a winger their focus. At the moment, it appears as though the two main targets are Orlando City’s Facundo Torres and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk but we shall see if other options emerge in the coming weeks.
