Arsenal fans met their 2-2 draw with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool over the Easter weekend with mixed reactions. Many were happy with the result, despite not picking up the win – they singled out superstar shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale as their top performer on the day.
However, certain sections of the Arsenal fanbase were critical of both Mikel Arteta and Granit Xhaka, following the stalemate. They were unimpressed with Xhaka for picking up an unnecessary yellow card, while they also took issue with Arteta’s substitutions.
As always, Arsenal fans could not find a general consensus as to how they felt about the result – here’s what they had to say about the game on Twitter.
"If Arsenal win the title, that man has just earned himself a statue!"

Most fans, even those who were dismayed with the final result, could not find a fault in the performance of Ramsdale. One key moment saw him save a goalbound shot from Darwin Nunez – had he let it in, the Gunners would have probably come away from the game with nothing.
In the game against the Reds, Arsenal started strongly, as they went 1-0 up in the eighth minute. Later in the first half, Arsenal doubled their lead through Gabriel Jesus, but were pipped back to 2-1 before half-time.
In the second half, Liverpool were awarded a penalty – only for Mohamed Salah to drag his effort wide of the post. Unfortunately, the Gunners could not hold their lead, as Roberto Firmino finally grabbed an equaliser in the 87th minute of the game.
