Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira put in another fine display against Fulham in the 5-1 win yesterday afternoon.
The Uruguayan international seemed to be everywhere on the pitch as he made interceptions, tackles and recovered possession of the ball.
Fans on Twitter were waxing lyrical about Torreira’s impact since his £26m arrival from Sampdoria in the summer:
He's been the missing cog in the AW team since the departure of Vieira. What a revelation – going through his duties quietly but efficiently!

The 22-year-old had to wait for his chance in the first team with manager Unai Emery favouring the centre midfield duo of Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka for the opening five Premier League games of the season.
However, the Gunner boss has started Torreira in the club’s last three league matches, leading to victories against Everton, Watford and Fulham.
Although, there were nervy moments in the first two of those games, the convincing win against the Cottagers has given supporters hope that the club can challenge at the top of the table. Arsenal are just two points off first place heading into the international break.
