Arsenal return to the Premier League this weekend as they face a short trip to play against West Ham United.
The Gunners come off the back of a 5-1 win in the Champions League against Ruben Amorim’s former team Sporting CP which handed Mikel Arteta‘s side their second win in a row.
Before that, they beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the Premier League leaving them nine points away from league leaders Liverpool.
This weekend provides a chance for Arsenal to either leapfrog Manchester City or gain ground on Liverpool as the two title rivals face off on Sunday afternoon.
They face a West Ham side who come off an impressive 2-0 win against Newcastle United at St James’ Park which eased some of the job pressure on Julen Lopetegui.
The Gunners have a relatively fit squad as they could only miss up to three players with Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu ruled out. Defender Gabriel is a doubt after picking up a knock against Sporting CP on Tuesday.

Arsenal backed as favourites against the Hammers
The Gunners are looking for back to back wins in the Premier League after they came back from the international break.
They are backed to win as favourites by the bookmakers as according to Oddschecker, the Gunners are 9/20 favourites to win on Saturday giving them a 69% chance to win.
Meanwhile, West Ham are backed at 13/2 which gives them a 13.3% chance to win and a draw is backed at 4/1 (20%).
We predict a 3-1 win for an Arsenal team that are looking like they are getting back to their brilliant best ahead of a midweek game against Manchester United next week.
