Wenger Warned Against Slipping Again!

It seemed like it wasn’t just Arsenal who came crashing down against Liverpool an Anfield, they were joined by their manager too, who himself fell, quite literally. The French manager was making his way back while carrying his luggage to Liverpool’s Lime Street train station with the team after their 5-1 drubbing, when he lost his footing and fell to the ground.

Wenger was furious with the fact that onlookers were busy filming the embarrassing incident rather than helping him get back on his feet. Images of Wenger on the floor spread on social media, which caused much mockery and jokes at his expense. He would be hoping that this little ‘fall’ would be a thing of the past, however the not-so-sweet people at Betfair are not in the mood to let him forget it anytime soon, as Metro report.

They have prepared comical ‘Caution posters’ which were strategically placed at several nooks and corners around the Emirates Stadium where Wenger would be anticipated to read them. They read ‘Don’t slip up again, Arsene!’ and were snapped prior to Arsenal’s game against Manchester United.

Though the team dropped 2 points after the 0-0 draw, at least the unlucky Wenger was on his feet this time around.
