Wenger Unhappy With The Way Wilshere’s Injury Was Managed By England’s Staff

Arsenal lost Jack Wilshere after some awkward decision making on behalf of England’s manager who could have sent on a substitute for the Gunner during half-time. Regardless of the 22 year olds’ bravery, Roy Hodgson should have given a lot more attention to his injury which can now end up costing Wenger a seasons’ worth of work.

Wilshere was a key player in Arsenal’s quest to win a trophy. It is safe to say that the next month will be decisive as far as their success goes. The Gunners will have an incredibly tough series of games and losing is not an option. With Ramsey out and with Ozil still having trouble performing consistently, Wenger will have to count on Flamini and Rosicky who have had mixed performances since the beginning of the season.

Seeing Wilshere soldier on through his injury was not something out of the ordinary. Fans know very well how determined and dedicated Arsenal’s midfielder tends to be. Perhaps his age and lack of experience made him continue playing against Denmark despite having to deal with some serious damage after Agger’s tackle. Even if he has been playing at the highest level possible for a long time, he is still a bit impulsive.

According to Yahoo! Eurosport, not giving in to the injury inflicted by the Dane could now cost Wilshere the remainder of the season. Missing out on the next two months can easily end up limiting his chances of making it to the World Cup. Not being able to help Arsenal might also cost them thier first Emirates trophy. Hopefully Wenger will find a way of replacing the 22 year old for the weeks to come.
