Arsenal were interested in Romulo last January but no move materialised. They have now reignited their interest in the midfielder and are planning an £8 million move in the winter transfer window, according to Daily Mail.
The Brazil international joined Moscow in 2012 and is keen on a move away from the Russian capital. Brazil clubs Flamengo and Internacional are vying for his services but the defensive enforcer is interested in a move to Arsenal.
Arsenal fans are crying out loud for a defensive midfielder and Romulo could be the solution to Arsenal’s defensive frailties. However, Moscow want £8 million plus forward Yaya Sanogo, but the Frenchman is not interested in playing his football in Russia.
Do you think Romulo would be a good addition at the Emirates if the move goes through next month?
