Wenger Reacts To Mourinho’s Endless Rants On Title Adversaries

According to the Daily Mail, Wenger was unhappy with how Chelsea’s manager is approaching the title race. The Portuguese manager whose team recently lost against City without being able to fire a single shot on target, characterized the Frenchman as “a specialist in failure”, referring to the Gunners’ almost decade long trophy draught.

Despite being one of the most calm and calculated Premier League managers, Wenger decided to respond to Mourinho’s inappropriate statements by calling him an embarrassment to the game. Arsenal’s boss was not the first to express his disappointment with the way Chelsea’s manager handles the pressure of a tight title race such as the one that has been going on since the beginning of the 2013-2014 season.

Mourinho who also called Wenger a voyeur some time back, and also spoke his mind after the Frenchman commented on his “little horse” metaphor which was used to underline the fact that Chelsea are not favorites for winning the Premier League this season despite being first in the standings. Arsenal’s boss said such attitude is a result of fearing the possibility of failure which apparently struck a nerve with Mou who reacted the way he did.

Arsenal have to deal with bigger problems though. Giroud’s recent escapade is more than likely to take a toll on his future performances. The Gunner is waiting to be sanctioned by the club after staying up late right before the Crystal Palace game. Rumors have it he will have to pay as much as £230,000 for his little affair with American model Celia Kay. Hopefully, 21 year old Yaya Sanogo will be up to replacing Giroud after making his first appearance against Liverpool and turning in a creditable performance.
