Wenger Held Secret Meeting With Balotelli’s Agent!

Arsenal are brimming with quality throughout their squad but a lack of depth in their forward department is visible for all the fans to see. Although Wenger was unable to land a proven forward in January, all signs lead to a big money striker arriving in the summer.

The north London side have recently been linked with Mario Balotelli, who has spent two-and-a-half seasons in England with Manchester City. Talks over a possible transfer are gathering significant pace with Metro reporting that Wenger met with Balotelli’s agent on Monday to discuss a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.

The 23-year-old has been in supreme form ever since he returned to Italy and has bagged 21 league goals in just 30 appearances for Milan. However, the Rossoneri are in a crisis with the club languishing in 11th position in Serie A having already suffered 8 league defeats in 23 matches.

The report states that Balotelli’s exit is imminent from the San Siro after he was subject to racial abuse last week against Napoli which no player should have ever have to endure particularly in today’s game.

Wenger’s discussions with Balotelli’s agent have been positive and it seems the Frenchman is weighing up a £25 million move for the Italian in the summer. Wenger has had a good history of managing all kinds of players and while managing Balotelli always has the potential to be interesting his talent is undeniable and he would be worth taking a chance on, giving Arsenal some things they are lacking- goals and the bit of nastiness which top players like Ronaldo, Rooney and Henry bring to their games.
