Wenger Confident In Ramsey’s Form

Aaron Ramsey is definitely the player of the season at least up until now. He has been a revelation for both fans and Wenger who did not expect the Welshman’s meteoric rise. After being close to a transfer last season, mostly because of his poor form, the Gunner is now Arsenal’s most efficient player. He is third on the Premier League top scorers list and has helped his team win numerous times. His goals have helped the North London team secure a 4 point advantage over Chelsea with only a few fixtures left until the January transfer window.

The Welsh international who is just about to turn 23 has been with Arsenal since 2008. He started off as a player with incredible potential but hit a rough patch which almost cost him his place at the Emirates as he rehabbed from the serious leg break he suffered. Fortunately for both him and Arsenal, he came back stronger than ever and is now leading his team to their first trophy in 8 years. He not only helped the Gunners get on top of the Premier League but also had a massive impact while performing in the Champions League group stages. His 5 goals give Wenger’s team the chance to advance towards the next stage of the competition and fight their way towards the final as group winners.

According to Metro, Wenger reckons Ramsey will be the best player in the Premier League at the end of the season. Even if he has to face top competition like Suarez (who scored 4 for Liverpool vs Norwich last night), Rooney or Aguero, the Welshman definitely has a chance of claiming the player of the year award in 2014.

The Frenchman is confident that his player is going to become even better with time. With two thirds of the season still to go, Ramsey has a lot of time to prove himself worthy of the PFA player of the year title. He has started off very well especially considering his position on pitch which does not normally offer so many scoring opportunities.

Hopefully for the Welshman, injuries will not be a problem this season. He has a history of bad luck, missing out on several matches each year because of health issues. If things go well, there is a very big chance, Wenger will be proven right as far as the player of the year award goes.
