Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is keen on leaving the Emirates when the transfer window reopens, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has barely featured this season, having played his last league match in the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, and supporters on Twitter are pretty happy for him to be sold:
He's not playing well at all anytime he plays. We should cash in on him.

He's too slow to be a modern defender.. Sell him and Saliba needs to rejoin

That’s fine if they are going to give us what we payed for him…

Good as a stop gap between our old Cb and new ones but I’d happily let him go and keep Chambers and Holding as backups instead

Let him go. Next season we should have Saliba playing for us, so he’ll get pushed down the pecking order even more. I didn’t see anything special from Pablo, perhaps I’m wrong 🤷♂️

Former club Flamengo are believed to be Mari’s likeliest destination and it’s highly unlikely that the Gunners will manage to recoup the £6.8m they paid to sign the centre-back.
Manager Mikel Arteta will also have to consider whether he can do without the Spaniard for the second half of the season. Arsenal are, however, not exactly short of options in the middle of defence.
As well Ben White, Gabriel and Rob Holding, fullbacks Takehiro Tomiyasu and Calum Chambers are also comfortable playing in more central positions.
Mari has been rather disappointing since his arrival in January last year, with the centre-half’s lack of pace meaning he has always struggled with the speed of English football.
