AC Milan have enquired about signing Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, according to reports in the Italian media.
It’s unclear at this stage whether the Serie A champions are interested in a loan deal or if they are trying to secure him on a permanent basis, but most fans on Twitter are keen to keep the Belgian at the Emirates:
We need to keep this guy no matter what.

Sending Lokonga to Milan without two new incomings will leave us on a cliff hanger with our midfield. An injury to Partey, Xhaka…= crisis….

Loan only we can't lose him

Definitely do not get rid. A loan if anything but not a permanent sale!

Lokonga hasn’t had much of an impact since arriving from Anderlecht last summer and there is an argument to say that a temporary move could be beneficial so he could get more game time.
However, manager Mike Arteta isn’t exactly blessed with a lot of options in midfield and it’s likely that Lokonga’s move away from the club would only be sanctioned if a player is brought in before the transfer deadline.
The Gunners remain interested in Leicester’s Youri Tielemans but they have not yet made an official offer for the 25-year-old.
