Folarin Balogun scored a hat-trick for Stade de Reims as the Ligue One club won 4-2 against Lorient midweek.
The striker, who is on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season, now has 14 league goals, which is more than the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Supporters on Twitter are delighted with Balogun’s form and many are keenly anticipating his return to the Emirates next summer:
We need him back

Either him or Eddie… Don't entertain bids less than Β£60M.

Should definitely keep him next season. 3 strikers with a CL campaign is sensible. We didn't rest on having just Henry and Bergkamp, we added Kanu and then Wiltord and Reyes at the same time and they all featured enough.

Cant wait for him to join us next season so much depth he will add to the attack

He's been on fire this season, he's surely worth Β£80m now.

The England Under 21 international has certainly benefited from his time away from the Gunners but it remains to be seen how prominently he will feature in Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans next campaign.
With Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus likely to be ahead of him in the pecking order, there are concerns about whether Balogun could get the game time he wants at Arsenal. If he continues banging in the goals, though, he could well be considered as a starter for the Gunners in the not-too-distant future.
