“We Are Evaluating…” Agent Speaks Out On Brazilian International’s Future Amid Arsenal Rumours

Agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed that Juventus midfielder Arthur intends to remain with the Serie A club if he continues to play on a regular basis.

Arsenal, Sevilla and Roma have all been mentioned as potential destinations for the Brazilian international but, when asked about the player’s future, Pastorello said that the midfielder is currently focused on performing for Juve:

“His will is to be a protagonist at his club, this year in particular with the World Cup at the door. We are evaluating with Juventus, with great consistency and participation towards the club. There is serenity, we will find a solution if he needs it, given that in the last three games he has played two games as a starter and one with more than half an hour.

As Pastorello points out, manager Max Allegri has been playing Arthur more regularly recently, having started him in the wins over Bologna and Cagliari earlier this month.

With that being the case, it seems the Gunners’ chances of snapping up the 25-year-old during the January transfer window are pretty low, at this stage.

Things could, of course, change, very quickly. Arthur has only started three league matches this season and if he is, once again, consigned to the bench, there could be more speculation about the player leaving the Bianconeri in the coming weeks.
