‘We Are Always Linked With Finished Players’ ‘A Good Loan Signing’ Fans Debate Arsenal’s Interest In La Liga Ace

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has asked the club to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco when the January transfer window opens, according to reports in Spain.

The Gunners are thought to be considering signing the 28-year-old on loan, with an option to buy at the end of the season, and fans on Twitter are split on whether the move would be a good idea:

Isco is reportedly keen to leave the Bernabeu in order to get more first-team football ahead of next year’s European Championships. He has only started three league games this season and he knows he needs to be playing more if he is to be included in Spain’s squad.

However, despite being linked with Manchester City in the past, the Spaniard’s form has dropped markedly in recent seasons and, while a loan deal could be seen as a decent piece of business, there is no guarantee Real Madrid would let him go on a temporary basis.

With Red Bul Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai available for £22.5m due to his release clause, the Hungarian may be a better choice, considering he is also a lot younger than Isco.
