Watford V Arsenal: Match Preview And Betting Odds

Arsenal will be keen to get back to winning ways when they face Watford on Sunday. Following a defeat to Liverpool and the draw in the North London derby, manager Unai Emery will be hoping for a better result at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets have recently sacked Javi Gracia and replaced him with Quique Sanchez Flores so the Gunners will be keeping their finger’s crossed that there is no “new manager bounce” this weekend.

Arsenal’s injury list is getting shorter, with Rob Holding being tipped to return to the matchday squad, but there are doubts over Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira who both have knocks.

Watford will not have captain Troy Deeney available with the striker out until at least October after undergoing knee surgery. Midfielder Etienne Capoue is also 50/50 due to illness.

The bookmakers have made the Gunners slight favourites with Betfair having them at Evens to get the three points. A draw is currently 11/4 at Betfred while a Watford victory is 14/5 with Unibet.
