Arsenal fans are crying out for a big-name signing this summer, and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is certainly a player who would excite the Emirates crowd.

As a boyhood Gunner, he seems very keen to make the switch to North London but as things stand, the club have yet to make a second bid following their opening £40m offer.

It’s likely that there will be further developments once Zaha returns from the African Cup of Nations. His Ivory Coast side face Algeria in the quarter-finals tomorrow.

The 26-year-old has been asked about his future, but he has given very little away in interviews. Many fans will see that as a good sign as he hasn’t ruled out a move to Arsenal.
