It has been announced in the last few days that Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Mario Gotze will leave the Bundesliga club on a free transfer this summer.
The 27-year-old hasn’t been linked with a move to Arsenal yet, but some fans on Twitter believe it is inevitable that the German will be mentioned as a possible transfer target:
Washed up player, unfortunetly bayern transfer and health problems.

He is the German Aaron Ramsey. If wages are not too high, it wouldn't be a bad deal.

Gotze has had a tough time of things since scoring the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final. He moved back to Dortmund from Bayern Munich in 2016, but he had numerous injury problems as well as being diagnosed with Myopathy; a muscular disorder.
However, the German international has been fit and available for the last three seasons, without any serious issues. Form has been more of a problem, having scored just three goals in 20 appearances this season.
Even so, Head of Football Raul Sanllehi may see Gotze as a decent purchase on a free transfer, especially considering the Gunners’ limited transfer funds.
