Arsenal, Chelsea & Liverpool Could Sign Victor Osimhen Amid Contract Demands Which Could See Him Move In January

Victor Osimhen has made a loan move to Galatasaray in Turkey after he rejected a move from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli on transfer deadline day.

The Nigerian striker chose to leave for Galatasaray after failing to get his preferred move to a Premier League side over the summer with Chelsea in talks with Napoli up until the deadline.

Osimhen demanded a break clause in his loan deal at Galatasaray which would allow him to join Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool in the January transfer window.

According to Turkish media outlet A Spor on X, Osimehn has demanded that his loan deal be terminated in January should one of 10 clubs make a bid for him including the three Premier League sides, Bayern Munich and more.

This provides a boost for Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool who may decide to pursue the 25-year-old in January should they need a striker to help with the race for the Premier League title.

Do Arsenal need a striker to keep pace with Manchester City?

Reports were suggesting that Arsenal had been looking to add a striker this summer, but despite signing five players, the Gunners missed out on a striker so they entered the season with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz.

Manchester City have had the perfect start to the year with three wins from three and a remarkable seven goals from Erling Haaland who has two hat tricks over the three games.

This raises the question of whether the Gunners will be able to keep pace without a pure out-and-out goalscorer like Haaland. Maybe signing Osimhen in January could be the ideal move for Mikel Arteta in their chase for a Premier League title.

Osimhen wanted a Premier League move

Victor Osimhen rejected a big-money deal with Al-Ahli because he wanted a move to the Premier League which would have likely come through Chelsea.

The Blues were in talks with Napoli over Osimhen but failed to get a deal through hence why the Nigerian has taken a loan deal at Galatasaray.

He likely won’t play for Napoli again as he has demanded moves away all summer long, he also didn’t feature in the Italian club’s squad for any of their opening games in the Serie A.
