There have been some contrasting reactions among Arsenal supporters as new images purporting to show next season’s home shirt have leaked online.
Kit manufacturer Adidas has made the badge gold, along with the three stripes, but they have kept the Emirates sponsorship logo white, with a zig-zag pattern included on the red section of the jersey.
While there are fans on Twitter that like the new design, there are plenty who feel that the shirt doesn’t live up to previous iterations:
Very Puma-esque and not in a good way

Looks so nice don’t know why people hate it

It’s still kinda bad but it’s slightly better than the previous pics we saw of it

Same discourse every year, everyone hates it until they see the players wearing it and it suddenly becomes T5 OAT🤣

I don’t mind a mid looking jersey if we wear it as PL champions next season.

As some have pointed out, these kits do usually look better in person and many will probably learn to like the change-up in design.
The gold trimming, in particular, won’t be to everyone’s taste, but it isn’t a major issue that would stop supporters from buying it. Expect the new shirt to go on sale at some point in June or July, with the away and third jerseys to quickly follow suit.
