UK Baller League To Be Shown Live On Sky Sports With Arsenal Legends Lehmann, Pires And Ljungberg

Sky Sports has announced that it will be the official broadcaster of the inaugural UK Baller League, which is set to start this month. 

Arsenal legends Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg will be involved as managers of one of the 12 teams, named N5FC – they were all part of Arsenal’s 2003/04 ‘invincibles’ team.


The Baller League is an indoor football league (futsal style), with 12 six-a-side teams competing through a league over 11 weeks from March 24 onwards.

Football legends and influencers will make up the manager teams, with the likes of Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, KSI and John Terry amongst those involved.

In a new development for the league, Sky Sports has announced that it will broadcast every match on Sky Sports channels and NOW TV, every Monday night from the Copper Box Arena in London.

There will be a draft from a pool of over 160 players on Monday 10 March, broadcast live on Sky Sports from 6.15 pm. The pool includes former Premier League players, Futsal players, free agents and released academy players.

Who is coaching the 12 Baller League teams?

The 12 teams are as follows…

  • Yanited FC – Coached by Twitch streamer Angry Ginge
  • M7 FC – Coached by YouTuber Miniminter
  • VZN FC – Coached by YouTuber TBJZL
  • SDS FC – Coached by YouTuber Sharky
  • Trebol FC – Coached by former Barcelona and Real Madrid winger Luis Figo
  • Deportrio – Coached by Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards
  • N5 FC – Coached by Arsenal legends Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg
  • 26ers – Coached by former Chelsea defender John Terry
  • Santan FC – Coached by rapper Dave
  • FC Rules The World – Coached by founder of fashion label Corteiz Clint 419

The 12 teams will battle it out to make the playoffs which will involve the top four teams in the league, ahead of the final, which will take place in May.
