The Premier League has thrown up several surprises so far this season as Arsenal fall behind in the title race and Liverpool shine at the top of the table. 

The Gunners remain nine points off Arne Slot’s Liverpool with Chelsea and Manchester City sitting in between them in the league table.

Pep Guardiola’s City have lost four games in a row in all competitions and the likes of Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Fulham have all emerged as candidates for European football.

Erling Haaland remains the top scorer as we’re in the third international break of the season, whereas Brentford’s Bryan Mbuemo and Nottingham Forest’s Chris Wood sit behind him.
