Eddie Howe
Some may have expected to see Eddie Howe higher up on the list. While he and Newcastle have been brilliant this season, we feel that the three above him have been marginally more impressive.
Not only has the former Bournemouth established a clear tactical identity at Newcastle, he has also spent the vast swathes of money at his disposal very wisely. He has not overpopulated his dressing room with egos – instead, he has signed lesser-known talents and developed them into superstars.
Who knows what the future has in store for Newcastle and Eddie Howe? The Magpies are a club in the ascendancy, with much of this down to Howe’s calm, yet focused approach to how they play.
