Arsenal have been crying out for a striker over the past couple of years ever since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left in 2022. 

The Gunners made a bid for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins during the January transfer window, but it was rejected by Villa, who had previously sold their other striker Jhon Duran to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.

Arsenal are likely to spend big on an attacker during the summer transfer window, with the likes of Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen all having been linked with a move to the Emirates.
