Tomiyasu To Start, Smith Rowe On The Bench: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Aston Villa

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that there is a chance that Takehiro Tomiyasu will be fit to face Aston Villa tomorrow lunchtime.

The Japanese international could replace Cedric Soares on the right-hand side, with the rest of the back five: Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Gabriel and Kieran Tierney, keeping their places following the defeat to Liverpool midweek.

In midfield, it’s unlikely that we’ll see any changes either. Emile Smith Rowe is available but Arteta is expected to select Martin Odegaard in the no.10 role once again, with Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka playing as the two deeper-lying midfielders.

Up front, while they were unable to get a goal against Liverpool on Wednesday night, Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli do look to be the club’s three best options to lead the attack.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Play Aston Villa:

Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka, Saka, Lacazette, Martinelli
